See how we’re united in a love of learning at Clontarf World of Learning. Our long day care and early education centre provides child care in Clontarf that is perfect for families living or commuting through nearby suburbs Kippa-Ring, Margate, Redcliffe, and Woody Point.
We are a three-room boutique centre who believe in providing a home from home environment for our children to grow and learn in. Being a small centre means we can cater for each child as an individual. Our long term staff show commitment to our children and create a family feel to the centre.
As soon as you enter through the doors of our Clontarf child care centre, you’ll be immersed in a world where children are encouraged to learn and explore. Our spacious outdoor areas feature sandpits, natural gardens, and play equipment to engage all the senses.
Children are provided the time and space for uninterrupted play as they explore the outdoors to test their limits and develop strength, balance, and self-confidence. Being outside supports children’s overall health and wellbeing.
Our indoor spaces invite exploration with quality resources and learning experiences. Children wonder, create, and test out their ideas as they play with a range of materials in purposeful play spaces. Our team of experienced educators plan play-based learning experiences around children’s interests and learning goals. Literacy and numeracy concepts are embedded in play-based learning, as children engage as architects, storytellers, scientists, artists, and designers.
There’s no need to worry about preparing lunch or snacks at our Clontarf child care centre. Nutritious meals are made daily by our in-house cook, catering for all dietary requirements. Shared mealtimes between children and educators strengthen relationships, with opportunities to share stories and experiences, and model healthy eating practices.
Your child will have access to new experiences every day at our Clontarf child care centre. For an additional fee, kindergarten aged children can participate in swimming lessons in Term One and Term Four. These fun and engaging programs enhance the daily program.
We welcome special guests and community members to the centre based on the children's interests.
Our centre also celebrates regular cultural events reflecting the diversity in our local community. We love hosting father’s day, mother’s day events and we like to welcome extended family to join us for Grandparents celebrations.
Neighbourhood connections support a sense of community and belonging for children and provide opportunities to develop social and observational skills with different people, places, and environments.
As members of our World of Learning community, we look forward to partnering with you to provide information, support, and high-quality education and care in your child’s formative years.
