Centre Manager - Parkinson World of Learning
“The children inspire me, and I love every crazy moment of the changes they go through in the learning and development process.”
I began my career in early childhood education and care in 1994 and started working at Parkinson World of Learning in 2002. I hold an Advanced Diploma in Children Services.
What inspired me to pursue a career in early education and care is my love of children. The children inspire me, and I love every crazy moment of the changes they go through in the learning and development process. I enjoy watching as they grow and learn differently and how they are all unique.
The benefits of attending a dedicated early childhood education and care centre like ours is the play-based program with guidelines from the Early Years’ Learning Framework. We implement our programs with the children’s needs, growth, and development. Our five rooms all have different projects happening to support the curiosity and exploration of the children.
We are a very diverse team with many different personalities and experiences, and we all work together to provide high quality care for our children and their families. We have formed a bond over the years and welcome new educators to our team to form a close relationship on all levels. They all work closely with the families to form relationships and encourage the growth and development of all the children.
Our team understands just how important your children are to you and we ensure we take our responsibilities seriously. World of Learning Centres have extensive policy and procedures in place to assist our team in protecting children in our care. We protect all the children, all the time and are very aware of the risks associated with life in general.
We communicate in all aspects of their child care journey, and offer parents help and support at all times. We support our families with lots of communication and help when need.
We endeavour to give a thorough and comprehensive tour and communicate and support our families through the enrolment process. We do assist with the enrolment forms if required as well as supply the information on applying for CCS and all the steps in our all in one family app named Xplor.
A fun fact about me is that I have a little dog called Tiny (very original) she is a bundle of energy and keeps us on our toes. I love fruit and chocolate cake.
Welcome to Parkinson World of Learning.
