Centre Manager - Glenvale World of Learning
“I have a passion for seeing children grow and developed into their own individual personalities.”
I began my career in early childhood education and care in 1997 and started working at World of Learning Glenvale in 2021. I hold a Diploma in Childcare and Education, with over 20 years’ experience in the industry.
I spent my first few years working as an educator before gaining my Diploma and stepping into a lead educator role. I enjoyed my time as a lead educator and stayed in this role for many years to gain experience and grow as an educator. I loved to build relationships with the children in my care and provide them with inviting learning environments to grow and develop, as well as great a sense of belonging for the children and their families. I have worked as an educational leader as well as an assistant director before stepping into a centre manager role. I enjoy the diverse aspect of my role, from mentoring staff building relationships with families and children, and networking with other sister centres. I enjoy community engagement and building a great reputation for my centre in the community.
Children are unique and all have individual personalities. I think this has guided my teaching style to know all children learn and respond differently and we need to provide them all with unique opportunities to learn.
I have a passion for seeing children grow and develop into their own individual personalities. I like to help children by respecting and supporting their needs and learning style and offering a caring environment.
I explain to families that we have specially designed environments to support all children’s individual learning. We observe children’s development and plan specific experiences to help support each child’s individual needs for growth. We have experienced and qualified staff who can network to build the best program for all of the children. The children also get the chance to engage with other children, building on their social and emotional development, preparing them for formal education.
We have a great close-knit team, who work well together to provide the best outcome for the children in our care. Our team is made up of long serving team members as well as new team members. They are welcoming and accommodating to all children and families.
Our team understands just how important your children are to you and we ensure we take our responsibilities seriously. World of Learning Early Education Centres has extensive policy and procedures in place to assist our team in protecting children in our care.
Open communication with families is extremely important, I believe this sets us up to create great relationships with our families. Ensuring we are prompt at responding to family’s enquiries it makes them feel valued and important. Making sure we are available at key drop of and pick-up times so they can stop in and talk with us if needed.
Welcome to World of Learning Glenvale.
