Centre Manager - St Helens Park World of Learning
"My approach is child-led – always letting children make the most of their play-based experiences. "
I started my early learning career in 2013 and have been working at St Helens Park World of Learning ever since. I hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
I have always loved spending time with children. Watching them grow and develop into unique individuals has always been a passion of mine. My approach is child-led – always letting children make the most of their play-based experiences.
Early childhood education aims to support children in developing knowledge and skills they will utilise for the rest of their lives. Our educators endeavour to empower our children to become independent and confident members of their community. As we strongly believe children learn these skills through play, we encourage children to explore roles and share experiences utilising natural and manmade materials within homelike, nurturing, and safe environments.
All of my team have been working in the sector for a number of years. Some have been at our centre as trainees and stayed after finishing their traineeship. They are all incredibly passionate about providing children with the best learning experiences.
We want our families to feel that when they drop their child off at our centre, they are leaving their child with family members. We are all part of the St Helens Park family. Our centre is their second home. I am always available to listen to my families, give advice, and support them wherever I can.
