Chancellor Park World of Learning
Natural spaces that inspire young minds
When stepping into our child care centre, you will experience a sanctuary where children are inspired to explore, learn and grow. Our newly renovated spacious outdoor areas include sandpits, waterplay area, mud kitchen and a vegetable garden which encourages the children to discover their environment and embrace the outdoors. Children are encouraged to explore the outdoor areas to test their limits and develop strength, balance, and self-confidence.
Our indoor spaces encourage exploration and discovery with engaging resources and learning experiences. Children marvel, create, and test out their ideas as they play with a range of materials in purposeful play spaces. Our team of experienced educators plan play-based learning experiences around children’s interests and learning goals. Literacy and numeracy concepts are embedded in play-based learning, as children engage as architects, storytellers, scientists, artists and designers.
Healthy meals freshly prepared daily
We provide nutritious meals created daily by our in-house cook, catering for all dietary requirements. Shared mealtimes between children and educators strengthen relationships, with opportunities to share stories and experiences, and model healthy eating practices. Other opportunities include educators encouraging children to assist in selecting edible plants from our vegetable garden which are used in some of our meals.
High-quality early learning programs
No two days are the same at Chancellor Park World of Learning. A schedule of alternating specialised programs including music and dance are regularly available to your child. Our School Transition Program is run by a registered teacher. We have a good relationship with the local school and from term 2 onwards, our educators and kindergarten children visit the primary school. These transitional visits help alleviate some worries that children may have concerning starting school.
Educators and children venture out on excursions to our local community visiting the nearby aged care facility and schools. We regularly present educational children’s shows and welcome special guests to the centre to extend the children’s learning.
We also offer an engaging sustainability program teaching the children a sense of responsibility and connection to their world. Children learn about sustainability practices through our vegetable garden while harvesting food, weeding, watering, and nurturing the environment.
As members of our World of Learning community, we look forward to partnering with you to provide information, support, and high-quality education and care in your child’s formative years.
