United in a love of learning at Melton World of Learning. Our early learning and long day care centre is ideally located in the heart of Melton for families living or commuting through Melton, Melton South, Melton West, Brookfield and Kurunjang.
As you open the door to our centre, you will be immersed in a world where children enjoy exploring, learning and growing. Our spacious outdoor environments feature sandpits, double fort, climbing wall and exciting play equipment for children to learn through play. Children are encouraged to explore the outdoor areas to test their limits and develop strength, balance, and self-confidence.
At Melton World of Learning, we have several long-standing educators, with some of the team who have been at the centre for over 12 years.
Our indoor spaces encourage exploration and discovery with engaging resources and learning experiences. Children marvel, create, and test out their ideas as they play with a range of materials in purposeful play spaces. Our team of experienced educators plan play-based learning experiences around children’s interests and learning goals. Literacy and numeracy concepts are embedded in play-based learning, as children engage as architects, storytellers, scientists, artists, and designers.
We provide nutritious meals created daily by our in-house cook, catering for all dietary requirements including halal. Shared mealtimes between children and educators strengthen relationships, with opportunities to share stories and experiences, and model healthy eating practices.
Engaging schedule of specialised programs including sports, music and movement to develop fundamental skills and enhance the daily program.
Our educators and children explore our local community, going on walks and visiting the nearby library and community gardens. We regularly present educational children’s shows and welcome special community guests to the centre to extend on the children’s learning. Our centre offers occupational therapy for our Kindergarten rooms included in the fee. We love celebrating many different cultural events and tailor them to suit the children and families that attend our center.
Neighbourhood connections support a sense of belonging for children and offer opportunities to develop social and observational skills with various people and places.
We offer an engaging sustainability program teaching the children a sense of responsibility and connection to their world. Children learn about sustainability practices through our vegetable garden while planting fruits and vegetables and then helping educators pick them for cooking and eating when they are ready.
As members of our World of Learning community, we look forward to partnering with you to provide information, support, and high-quality education and care in your child’s formative years.
