See how we’re united in a love of learning at Leumeah World of Learning. Our long day care and early education centre provides child care in Leumeah that is perfect for families living or commuting through nearby suburbs Campbelltown, Ruse, Minto, St Andrew and walking distance from Leumeah Public School.
Our centre is proud to have received Exceeding the National Quality Standard. The National Quality Standard encompasses the seven key quality areas that are important outcomes for children’s learning and development.
Leumeah World of Learning is beautifully presented centre filled with charm and character that will ensure your children play and learn in a relaxed but stimulating environment. We have natural learning environments and offer regular in centre events and excursions based on children’s interests.
Due to following our children’s interests, our Leumeah World of Learning family have built a strong sense of community to which we use our local public transport to explore various places such as local restaurants, Event Cinemas, Sydney sea life Aquarium and the Mt Annan botanical gardens (just to name a few), which has helped our children to broaden their understandings of what our community.
When you walk through the doors of our Leumeah World of learning centre, you’ll be immersed in a world where children are encouraged to explore and learn. Our adventure-filled playgrounds feature sandpits, natural gardens, cubby house, slides, vegetable gardens, and play equipment to engage all the senses.
Children are provided the time and space for uninterrupted play as they explore the outdoors to test their limits and develop strength, balance, and self-confidence. Being outside supports children’s overall health and wellbeing.
Our indoor spaces invite exploration with quality resources and learning experiences. Children wonder, create, and test out their ideas as they play with a range of materials in purposeful play spaces. Our team of experienced educators plan play-based learning experiences around children’s interests and learning goals. Literacy and numeracy concepts are embedded in play-based learning, as children engage as architects, storytellers, scientists, artists, and designers.
There’s no need for you to worry about preparing lunch or snacks – our Leumeah world of learning centre has this all organised for you. Nutritious meals are made daily by our in-house cook, catering for all dietary requirements. Shared mealtimes between children and educators strengthen relationships, with opportunities to share stories and experiences, and model healthy eating practices.
There are new experiences to engage in every day at Leumeah world of learning. Your child will have access to engaging specialised programs, including a sport and music and movement program. These fun and engaging programs enhance the daily program.
Our educators and children venture out on excursions to local Leumeah community. We welcome special guests and community members to the centre based on the children's interests.
Throughout the years we host in centre events such as dentist and STEPS eye screening and emergency services visits. We also have built a very close relationship with our local school Leumeah Public, to which we encourage all our children to take part in the little learner's program, that assist our children in transitioning to a school setting.
Our centre also celebrates regular cultural events reflecting the diversity in our local community. We always encourage our families to share any cultural events with us throughout the year, so we may incorporate a bit of your families culture into our centre. Over the years we have taken part and offered many mothers/fathers and grandparent’s day morning teas, book week, Christmas parties, and so much more! We feel that by offering this, we can build a closer relationship with the children, families and our community.
Neighbourhood connections support a sense of community and belonging for children and provide opportunities to develop social and observational skills with different people, places, and environments.
As members of our World of Learning community, we look forward to partnering with you to provide information, support, and high-quality education and care in your child’s formative years.
