United in a love of learning at North Gateway World of Learning. Our early learning and long day care centre is nestled in the heart of North Gateway, ideally located for families living or commuting through North Gateway, Frankston, Langwarrin and Langwarrin South. We are set in the heart of Langwarrin adjacent to local facilities such as a family park and BBQ area, nearby public transport, schools, and shopping centers.
When visiting our centre, you will experience a sanctuary where children enjoy exploring, learning. And growing. Our spacious outdoor environments include a sandpit, vegetable garden, waterplay area and other exciting play equipment for children to learn through play. Children are encouraged to explore the outdoor areas to test their limits and develop strength, balance, and self-confidence.
We have a long-standing team of educator with two Kinder Teachers who hold bachelor’s degrees in Early Childhood Education and Primary Education. They are dedicated educators whom during their time have created great community connections.
Our indoor areas encourage exploration and discovery with engaging resources and learning experiences. Children marvel, create, and test out their ideas as they play with a range of materials in purposeful play spaces. Our team of experienced educators plan play-based learning experiences around children’s interests and learning goals. Literacy and numeracy concepts are embedded in play-based learning, as children engage as architects, storytellers, scientists, artists, and designers.
We provide healthy, freshly made meals created daily by our in-house cook, catering for all dietary requirements. Shared mealtimes between children and educators strengthen relationships, with opportunities to share stories and experiences, and model healthy eating practices.
Engaging schedule of specialised programs including music, sports and Bush Kinder for our Kindergarten aged children where they benefit from being outdoors as the natural environment enhances their health, learning and behaviour.
Educators and children venture out on excursions to our local community visiting the library and going on community walks to surrounding nature reserves and bush walks through leafy Langwarrin. Our children have the opportunity to participate in a daily yarning circle which provides the children with the chance to grow their knowledge on traditional owners of this land past and present.
Our centre is also involved with local community programs including the REDCycle program. We regularly present educational children’s shows and welcome special community guests to the centre to extend on the children’s learning. Neighbourhood connections support a sense of belonging for children and offer opportunities to develop social and observational skills with various people and places.
As members of our World of Learning community, we look forward to partnering with you to provide information, support, and high-quality education and care in your child’s formative years.
