In what year did you start working at the centre? Sept 2019
What are your qualifications and experience in early education?
Diploma in Early Learn Education and Post-graduation in Children’s hospital.
I’ve followed my mum’s steps which have always worked in the educational industry. Over the years I’ve had the opportunity to support children in different stages of development in early childhood education, bilingual and in-hospital support I’ve been a director across different Centres in Sydney and owned my own Family Day Care for more than 3 years.
My teaching style is to be flexible and open mind, not always the things are going to be the way that you planned, listening to the children not only with their world but also watching their actions too. Respecting children’s space and time to open them up to you, being a role model yourself and find out their interest.
We have a small, committed and passionate multicultural team members. It’s the sort of Centre where everyone knows all the children, no matter which room they are in. We are such a close-knit team it feels like one big family.
We love parents input and we always have an open line for communication between Centre and Parents, the childcare needs to be an extension from home.
