Centre Manager - Kiama World of Learning

“I embrace the genuine and natural curiosity of children. ”

I started my career in Early Childhood Education in 1993 and joined Kiama World of Learning in May 2023. I have a diploma in early childhood education and am studying towards a bachelor’s degree. I have been a centre manager for the past 10 years.

I’m passionate about quality, inclusive early childhood education. I embrace the genuine and natural curiosity of children. I work hard to support children to develop a love for learning and the ability to form strong and happy social connections. My teaching approach is to provide engaging and creative experiences for children to develop positive learning dispositions. I greatly emphasise children experiencing a complete sense of belonging so they can develop secure relationships.

Attending a quality early childhood service provides children with wonderful opportunities to develop relationships with peers and educators and to experience rich learning through well-planned play-based experiences. These opportunities support the development of a love for learning and the skills to make successful transitions throughout life.

The Kiama World of Learning team is a professional team of knowledgeable and nurturing educators. Each team member has various unique skills that underpin great relationships, and the valuable learning experiences set a beautiful introduction to early childhood education.

At Kiama World of Learning, we value, respect and honour diversity in our families and community and look forward to welcoming your family. We support families with information about our individualised learning programs and keep families up to date with information about children’s health and safety and parenting practices.
