Nicole Dalton

Centre Manager - Croydon World of Learning

“I love being able to come to work each day and leave a child feeling inspired. Our team is so passionate about providing unique learning experiences for your little one.”

I started my career in Early Childhood Education and Care in 2004 and have completed an Advanced Diploma of Early Education and Care. Even though I am new to World of Learning Croydon in 2022, I have been working with childcare in a variety of roles including Assistant Educator, Lead Educator, Assistant Centre Manager and Centre Manager for other child care centres.

Early education is my passion. I have always wanted to work with children from a very young age and have always felt that working in early learning is where I could make a difference as I feel the first years of a child’s life are the most important.

Through personal experiences with my own children, I was inspired to make a difference in not only children’s but families' lives as well. I strive to create an environment where children are loved and nurtured, where they are given opportunities to become courageous and confident learners but also a place where parents fell that the Centre and Educators are an extension of their family

I believe that the formation of great relationships between children, educators and families is the foundation of early learning and education. It’s our role as educators to introduce and develop an absolute love of learning in children. Early education should be a great big fun adventure every day that allows individuality for children to learn and grow at their own pace and to be themselves, to celebrate the successes and work together through challenges in a supportive trusting environment where children are eager and confident to keep trying and take on new challenges.

Social and emotional development is such an important part of children’s learning. At early learning centres we can provide opportunities to children that might not be available to them at home. They will have the opportunity to learn and practice skills that they will take with them their entire life.

What makes our team special is the bonds that we form with the families. We create meaningful relationships with all our families and provide that community feel here at the centre that is like a home away from home for your little one.

We aim to support families by striving to be a centre that is an extension of the child’s family, where parents are involved and consulted in all aspects of their child’s day. We endeavour to be available for families and work together for great outcomes for their children.
