Childcare Buderim

Headland Park World of Learning Buderim

See how we’re united in a love of learning at Headland Park World of Learning in Buderim on the Sunshine Coast. Our long day care and early education centre provides child care in Buderim that is perfect for families living or commuting through nearby suburbs Maroochydore, Mooloolaba and Mountain Creek on the Sunshine Coast.

Spacious learning environments

From the moment you walk through the doors of our Buderim child care centre, you’ll be immersed in a world where children are encouraged to learn and explore. Our spacious outdoor environments feature sandpits, natural gardens, vegetable gardens, dry creek bed, and play equipment to engage all the senses. Children are provided the time and space for uninterrupted play as they explore the outdoors to test their limits and develop strength, balance, and self-confidence. Being outside supports children’s overall health and wellbeing.

Our indoor spaces invite exploration with quality resources and learning experiences. Children wonder, create, and test out their ideas as they play with a range of materials in purposeful play spaces. Our team of experienced educators plan play-based learning experiences around children’s interests and learning goals supported by the national quality framework. Literacy and numeracy concepts are embedded in play-based learning, as children engage as architects, storytellers, scientists, artists, and designers.

Healthy meals freshly prepared in-house

We have everything covered here at our Buderim child care centre, so you won’t need to worry about preparing lunch or snacks. Healthy, freshly made meals are made daily by our in-house cook, catering for all dietary requirements. Shared mealtimes between children and educators strengthen relationships, with opportunities to share stories and experiences, and model healthy eating practices.

Community-based early learning

We welcome special guests and local community members from Buderim and the Sunshine Coast to the centre based on the children's interests.

Our kindergarten and child care centre in Buderim also celebrates regular cultural events reflecting the diversity in our local community. Neighbourhood connections support a sense of community and belonging for children and provide opportunities to develop social and observational skills with different people, places, and environments.

Health and safety

Our centre has a number of risk assessments in play to ensure children's safety at all times. These assessments are regularly updated when environments change. The educators conduct yard and room checks in the morning and again before going outside in the afternoons. All educators have their CPR training, first aide certificates and working with children checks (blue card).
