United in a love of learning at Felixstow World of Learning. Our early learning and long day care centre is nestled in the heart of Felixstow, ideally located for families living or commuting through Felixstow or nearby suburbs Athelstone, Campbelltown and Hectorville.
When stepping into our child care centre, you will experience a world where children are encouraged to explore and learn. Our adventure-filled playgrounds include sandpits, slide and a vegetable garden which encourages children to discover and embrace their outdoor environment. Children are encouraged to explore the outdoor areas to test their limits and develop strength, balance, and self-confidence.
Our indoor spaces encourage exploration and discovery with engaging resources and learning experiences. Children marvel, create, and test out their ideas as they play with a range of materials in purposeful play spaces. Our team of experienced educators plan play-based learning experiences around children’s interests and learning goals. Literacy and numeracy concepts are embedded in play-based learning, as children engage as architects, storytellers, scientists, artists and designers.
Healthy meals created daily by our in-house cook catering for all dietary requirements including halal options. Shared mealtimes between children and educators strengthen relationships, with opportunities to share stories and experiences, and model healthy eating practices. Let us treat you to coffee and a snack as part of your morning routine.
A rotating schedule of specialised programs including music and movement, yoga and sports to develop fundamental skills and enhance the daily program.
Our educators and children explore our local community with visits to nearby schools, local supermarket, library, marine discovery centre and the local aboriginal centre. They also enjoy community walks. We regularly present educational children’s shows and welcome special guests to the centre including emergency service visits (firefighters, police, ambulance services) to expand on the children’s learning. Neighbourhood connections support a sense of belonging for children and offer opportunities to develop social and observational skills with various people and places.
As members of our World of Learning community, we look forward to partnering with you to provide information, support, and high-quality education and care in your child’s formative years.
