Our experienced educator team has low staff turnover, with many educators having more than 10 years of experience. These long-standing relationships help children feel secure, known and comfortable in their daily routines.

Government-approved Preschool

Our Government-approved Preschool program is delivered by Bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teachers and helps children prepare for primary school. Children build early literacy, numeracy, independence, social skills and confidence through play-based learning and daily routines.

Learning tailored to each child

Individual Learning Plans are developed in partnership with families and reflect each child’s strengths, interests and developmental goals. Educators use these plans to guide learning experiences and share regular updates with families.

Emergency services, council and dental visits

Children take part in additional learning experiences with emergency services, local council and school dental visits. These visits bring safety learning, community awareness and health education into the centre in practical, age-appropriate ways.

Fresh wholesome meals by our in-house chef

Children enjoy fresh, wholesome meals and snacks prepared each day by our in-house chef, with options to suit different dietary needs. Allergies, dietary requirements, preferences and cultural needs are catered for so children can feel included at mealtimes.

Family communication and daily essentials

Families stay informed through regular communication with educators and updates shared through our family app, including photos, routines and learning moments. Nappies, wipes and selected essentials are also provided to help support children’s daily care.

"We respect and nurture each child's uniqueness and potential, promoting the early childhood years as a time for discovery, exploration, and the development of lifelong learning skills."

I have worked in early learning for over 20 years. The most rewarding part of my job is watching children grow and develop in a stimulating, challenging, and caring learning environment. I am passionate about creating a space where every child feels a sense of belonging through nurturing relationships with their educators.

My vision is to create a place for children to live, learn, and grow. We respect and nurture each child’s uniqueness and potential, promoting the early childhood years as a time for discovery, exploration, and the development of lifelong learning skills. I am committed to providing high-quality early learning and care environments, as well as innovative and exciting programs, learning stories, provocations, and environments for children and their families.

Our educators create individualised learning portfolios for all children, allowing families to see their children’s progress and learning from day one at our centre. We value parent involvement and focus on partnerships with parents and the community. I welcome you to drop in any time to learn more about our great early learning centre in Fairfield Heights and meet our friendly and caring educators.

Our innovative early learning programs

At our early learning centre in Fairfield Heights, our play-based curriculum is guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), supporting children to learn through play, exploration and discovery.

Sustainability

We promote sustainability by using recycled materials for arts and crafts, saving leftover drinking water for plants, and having recycling bins in each room and the foyer. We also make the most of natural daylight by keeping lights off whenever possible.

Community engagement

Children engage with the wider community in Fairfield Heights through visits from the fire brigade, police, local council, and school dentists, as well as participating in events like Book Week, Easter, Grandparents Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and our end-of-year party.

Language and early literacy

Children develop early literacy through storytelling, books, songs and meaningful conversations. Educators support children to explore language in many forms, including speaking, listening, viewing, drawing and writing, while building confidence communicating with others.

Cultural responsiveness and inclusion

Children learn about different cultures, languages and traditions through shared experiences that encourage respect, curiosity and a sense of belonging. Educators value and support children’s home languages and ways of communicating, strengthening identity and connection to community.

See more Dear Fairfield Heights World of Learning Team, I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for the outstanding care and educational experience my son has received at your centre. From the very beginning, our time at Fairfield Heights World of Learning has been nothing short of exceptional, and I wholeheartedly consider it the best early learning experience we could have hoped for. I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to the entire team of dedicated educators and staff. Your commitment to providing nurturing, high-quality care goes far beyond standard expectations. The love, patience, and professionalism you demonstrate daily for all the children — and the individual attention given to my son in particular — have been truly spectacular. It is evident that every member of your team pours their heart into their work, creating a warm, supportive, and enriching environment where children thrive both emotionally and developmentally. A special mention must go to Miss Loan Nguyen. Her heartfelt dedication, consistent responsibility, and genuine care for my son have made a profound and lasting impact. She has consistently gone above and beyond, and we are incredibly grateful for her unwavering support and kindness. Thank you once again to all the educators and staff at Fairfield Heights World of Learning for your tremendous hard work and devotion. You have not only cared for my child but have truly made a positive difference in our family’s life. I would highly recommend the centre to any parent seeking exceptional early childhood education and care. With sincere thanks and warm regards, Tam Nguyen

They are both thriving, and it’s been so lovely to see how happy and settled they are each day. We really appreciate the variety of sensory activities and engaging experiences provided, which have supported their development and kept them excited to learn and explore. The educators are caring, patient and attentive, and have always been incredibly flexible and accommodating with any changes. They are always checking in to see if there’s anything they can do differently to better care for and nurture our boys, supporting their growth and development. We especially appreciate the daily updates provided through the Xplor app. As two full-time working parents, they give us reassurance and a great insight into our boys’ day, knowing they are happily entertained, settled and well cared for. We feel very grateful knowing our boys are in such great hands. A special thank you to the nursery room educators, Ms Cam, Ms Dunia, Ms Linda, Ms Chau and Ms Mina for everything you ladies do.

Since then, she has settled in beautifully and has grown in confidence through the support and care of the educators. The educators in the nursery room provided a nurturing, supportive, and stimulating environment that helped her develop her physical skills and confidence. Now at 14 months old, she is beginning to take a few steps and enjoys exploring and participating in daily experiences. She is always happy to attend childcare and goes to the educators with a big smile. It is wonderful to see the strong relationships she has built with the educators and how comfortable, secure, and joyful she feels in their care.

Frequently asked questions

A centre tour is a convenient way to experience the childcare centre of your choice and meet with our qualified educators at a time that is suitable for your family’s schedule. Click here to book a tour online.

On the day of the tour, you can observe practices and interactions within the centre environment. You’ll be able to see all the rooms and playgrounds, ask the team members any questions you have in mind, and get all the information you need to make the best decision for your child.

Enrolling is simple, and our Family Support Team will guide you through each step.

First, find your local centre and book a tour so you can meet the team and explore the learning environment. If the centre is the right fit and a place is available, you’ll receive an enrolment offer for your child. If a place is not currently available in your child’s age group, we can add your child to the waitlist and keep you updated.

To finalise your enrolment, you’ll complete an online enrolment form through a secure link sent by our Family Support Team. You’ll also need to provide key details and documents, including your child’s birth certificate, Medicare details, immunisation history statement and, if eligible, your Child Care Subsidy details.

Before your child’s first day, you may be invited to attend a Stay and Play session. This gives your child time to explore the centre, meet their educators, and start feeling comfortable in their new environment. Once your paperwork is complete, your child is ready to start their early learning journey with us.

Read our step-by-step guide on how to enrol here.

Starting child care is a big milestone, and a little preparation can help your child feel more comfortable and confident.

Before your child’s first day, you can talk positively about their new centre, explain what their day might look like, and practise small routines such as packing their bag, saying goodbye, washing hands and sitting down for meals. You may also like to visit the centre with your child, meet their educators and ask our team about what to bring on the first day.

When your child starts, our educators will take the time to get to know your child’s routine, interests, comfort items and individual needs. Settling in looks different for every child, so we work closely with families to help children feel safe, supported and ready to learn.

Learn more about our Settling-in Program.

Most of our child care and early education centres offer nappies and wipes, sunscreen and hats, as well as nutritious meals prepared by our in-house cook. Some centres also provide sheets and formula, so you may not need to remember to pack them.

For nursery children, be sure to bring: nappy rash cream, dummies, bottles and teats, comfort toys or blankets, three spare outfits and spare socks.

For toddlers and preschool or kindergarten-aged children, it’s best to bring: spare underwear, water bottle or sippy cup, sun hat, closed-toe shoes, two spare outfits and spare socks.

Plus, anything else your individual child may need, such as breast milk, a sleeping bag, a comforter or medication.

It’s best to speak to your centre of choice for a full list of everything included.

World of Learning uses Xplor Home as our family communication app. It is the best and easiest way to keep track of your child’s day.

After you enrol your child with the centre, you can utilise Xplor Home to book child care days, manage your account, receive the photographs that capture your child’s learning, learn about your child’s progress, as well as keep up-to-date with upcoming centre events and important information.

If your child shows signs of an infectious illness when they arrive at the centre or becomes sick during the day, you may be notified that you need to make alternative arrangements or pick up your child from the centre and keep them home until they are no longer infectious. While we understand that this can be inconvenient, World of Learning is committed to maintaining a healthy environment and reducing the risk of infection for all children.

Under the Child Care Subsidy (CCS), families are allowed 42 absence days per child, per financial year. These can be taken for any reason, including public holidays and when children are sick, without requiring families to provide documentation.
